I was, unfortunately, not front row this year so the photos are from a distance but you can really see how beautiful the venue is in these shots. There is still half a roll of film in my camera, i'll post those when I get them developed.

Flint Center, Cupertino - December 10, 1998

This was a magical dream come true evening!

We sent flowers backstage for Margo before the show and they were on stage with her! She thanked us by playing Misguided Angel!! It was a beautiful show.

If that wasn't enough, we waited outside the Stage Door (It said "STAGE DOOR" in big white letters! HA!) for an hour and a half in freezing, 40 degree weather! But it was well worth the wait.

Margo (and the whole band actually) came out, signed our setlists, took pictures with us, and just chatted...she was soooo incredibly sweet! We were the only 2 out there so she spent a few minutes with us and talked about Santa Cruz (where we live) and the book I gave her (The Cube by Annie Gottlieb).

Then she said that she was going to get on a plane and she had flowers that would basically just get in the way so she gave them to US!!!!

She's wonderful!

The Warfield, San Francisco - August 19, 1998...Yes, i bawled my eyes out!!

Unfortunately, the pictures we took with and of Margo didn't turn out...disposable camera with no flash :(
I did get an autograph on my t-shirt and i'll scan that.

The pictures on this page are from http://www.mtco.com/~turksite/cowboyjunkies.htm (taken without permission) and she's wearing the same dress so it looks like the Warfield show!!

This had to have been one of the most amazing shows of my life and if I get a boot of it, i'll be open to trades--and if anyone knows of where i can get a boot, please please let me know!!!

She told wonderful stories and I felt she was just hanging out with us. Margo is wonderful!!

You can hear clips of their new album at CDNow.

Plus, the opening band, Over the Rhine, was amazing. We ran out and bought their cd as soon as they left the stage! Karin, the lead singer, has an incredible voice...they're just wonderful. I want to put up clips of their music too but that probably won't ever happen! I will eventually scan they're album cover. Their website is http://www.overtherhine.com.
